EAASDC Minutes from a meeting held 20 Nov 1955 (FIRST)

Ed, the following is a copy of the original hand-printed minutes I have in my files which I will not turn loose of. Pardon the grammar.

20 Nov 1955

Meeting was called to order by LtCol. Harold M. Deane, President of Frankfurt Beaux & Belles, and President Pro-Tem of the European Square Dance Clubs Assn.

President Pro-Tem Deane conducted a review of a proposed Constitution and Bylaws. Changes were made by vote from square dance club present and the responsibility for effective changes and reproducing the Constitution and Bylaws was delegated to the permanent Secty.

Upon approval, by members assembled, of the Constitution and Bylaws for the European Square Dance Clubs Association a nomination and election of Association officers was conducted by President Pro-Tern Deane.

The following officers were elected:

President                     Lou Taylor, Heidelberg Hoedowners

Vice President            Bill Brockett, Ramstein Square Dance Club

Secty                            Bob Beechinor , Heidelberg Hoedowners

Treas                            Scotty McConnell, Beaux and Belles

In the absence of President Lou Taylor, President Pro-Tern turned the meeting over to Vice-President Bill Brockett, who immediately accepted a motion for adjournment, seconded from the floor, and adjourned the Constitutional and Election meeting of the European Square Dance Clubs Association.
