Minutes of the General Meeting 6 September 1959
The meeting was called to order by the President, Fred Sahl at 1010 hours.

The minutes of the General meeting held on 4 July were read by the Secretary. A move was made by Lou Herrick and seconded by Joe Dark that the minutes of 4 July 1959 stand as read.
Treasurer's Report: Weldon Jackson of Mannheim Mixers moved that the Financial report stand as read.
Old Business:
A review of the Winter Jamboree to be held in Paris sometime in November.
New Business:
The floor was opened for nominations for new Association Club and President. Frankfurt Beaux and Belles bid for the Association. A motion was made by Dan Sjodin and seconded by Lou Herrick that they be accepted.
Doc Harris of Beaux and Belles nominated Wesley Keyson for President and was seconded by Don Burris of Mannheim Mixers. Al Rich made the motion that the nominations be adjourned and was seconded by Weldon Jackson. Wesley Keyson was unanimously elected for President of the Association.
The President stated that the Association would fall short on Round Up Expenses due to the low number of Spectators and Dancers. Fred asked that the Association be authorized expenses from the Association Treasury in the sum of $ 200.00 to be used in event that the Jamboree did not equal expenses. A motion was made by Wilkes Gibson of Heidelberg Hoedowners and seconded by Ross Strickland of Hanau Hayseeds that the Association be granted $ 200.00. A hand vote was taken and unanimously carried.
The nomination was made by Chuck Steele of Boots and Ruffles and seconded by Ross Strickland of Hanau Hayseeds that the Boots and Ruffles be host club for the Spring Jamboree. Andy Anderson of Flexible Squares moved, seconded by Ross Strickland of Hanau Hayseeds that they be accepted. A hand vote was taken and carried unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 11:15 hours.
