NEW BUSINESS

The report of the Spring Jamboree '77(Hamburg) was given by Manfred Lemanski. The Stintfang S.D.C. is working very hard on it. It is supposed to become a great Jamboree.

Then we've heard the report of the Summer Jamboree '77 in Shape, Belgium. It will become as good as their Spring Jamboree in '74. The Round Up '77 will be hosted by the three Stuttgart clubs on the Laborday Weekend. We will charge 1 Dollar per person. If we shouldn't break even, EAASDC will pay the rest off. Every dancer has to make sure to have a green card for this event, if not the dancer has to pay 3 Dollars. The dance hall is 15 minutes away from the camping ground.

We still need a host club for the Student Jamboree, held on 7 May '77. Also we need a bid for the Winter Jamboree in 1977.

We voted three new clubs into the Association: the "Shamrock Square and Round Dance Club", dancing every Thursday night at 19.30 in Oldendorf near Hannover; the "Round Robins R.D.C.", dancing in Landstuhl; the "8 chain five's", a teen's club that is dancing every Sunday at 18.50 in Nürnberg. Welcome new clubs!

The Soest Belles and Beaux bid for the Spring Jamboree in '78. No decision was made yet, the club will give a detail plan in Hamburg.

A very important point came up: wrong addresses. The Chatterbox editor as well as me have a lot of wrong or incomplete addresses. Please check your address and if it's not correct give us your new one.

A point that ECTA has brought up at our Joint Board Meeting, concerning the callers fees for Special Dances. Clubs, please be aware of the costs that a caller has to come to a dance, and don't think only of your own profit. The caller's fee should at least cover the expenses.

When clubs are hosting a Jamboree please give the program to Tarry Nelson, our Publicity Director, that it can be checked before printing.

Motion for adjournment was made and seconded.

Secretary, EAASDC
