MINUTES OF THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING AT THE SPRING JAMBOREE IN WAIBLINGEN ON MARCH 23rd, 1985
1. Roll call, the following member clubs signed in:

2. Minutes of the general membership meeting held on December 8th 1984 in Lauda, published in the March issue of the bulletin, were accepted without changes.
3. Treasurer's report of February 10th, 1985, published in the March issue of the bulletin, was accepted without changes.
4. EAASDC board reports
· Introduction of the new PA-Set
· Reminder for hosting clubs to offer, if possible, private accommodations to callers and cuers on the program.
· Reminder to provide an extra room for EAASDC board meetings.
· Grand March, go back to old system with minor changes. We keep it short, but give all people the necessary recognition.
· Reminder to supply EAASDC with information on manufacturers of reasonable badges.
· Representants of
Bonn Square Dance Group, Unicorn Promenaders, Taubertal Dancers and Stuttgart Strutters were asked to provide the secretary with information about their jamborees.
· New clubs were asked to provide EAASDC with a club badge
· Reminder about information of new Swedish clubs and the National Square Dance Convention in Alabama.
Old business
5. Jamboree report about summer jamboree
Only motor homes are allowed to stay next to the hall, tents and trailers have to stay on a camp ground in about 5 minutes distance. 100-125 spaces are reserved.
6. Constitution and by laws changes
The proposed changes, published in the March issue op the bulletin, were splitted into parts and have been voted on. All proposals were accepted without changes.
7. Spring jamboree '86 in Great Britain
The British Association agreed with our wished changes. All necessary information will be published in the bulletin.
8. Gema fee for hosting two events
The proposal, that clubs hosting two events within a year (except jamborees and round up's) have to pay an extra Gema of 30 DM for one dance, was accepted.
9. Shop contracts
The shop owners have to pay 30 DM per appearance at a jamboree or round up.
New business
10. Winter Jamboree '85
Change from H-Peelers to Rokoko Dancers, since the provide hall was too small to hold a jamboree. Many thanks to all clubs involved:
H-Peelers for their work though far
Rokoko Dancers for taking over
Offenburg SDC for moving their Christmas Dance.
11. Nomination committee
For upcoming elections at the Round Up the following committee was set up:

Central: Harry Heinz, Wiesbaden

One application had to be postponed, because the General. Membership meeting decided that from now on a representative of the new club has to be present and give all necessary information.

Please register early for your attendance and accommodations because at the same time 2 big fairs are going on.
