TOP 1 Board Reports
a. Die Werbemappe ist in Arbeit. Sie wird folgende Informationen enthalten:
- welche Information muss Werbung für nicht Square Dancer enthalten
- welche Information muss Werbung für Square Dancer enthalten
- wie erstellt man Werbematerial (z.B. Flyer, Presseinformationen, Briefe an
Behörden, etc.)
- wie verbreitet man das Werbematerial
- Sammlung von Musterbriefen, Beispiele von Flyer, Schriften, Graphiken,
Photos.
Mitglieder werden gebeten Manfred Rösler bei der Zusammenstellung dieser Gliederung zu unterstützen und diese Gliederung eventuell um fehlende Punkte zu ergänzen. Des Weiteren möchte Manfred von den Mitgliedern Beispiele erfolgreicher Pressearbeit bzw. Briefe an Behörden erhalten, um die Dokumentation zu vervollständigen.
b: Wieder gibt es Clubs, die noch nicht bezahlt haben. Andererseits gibt es aber auch Zahlungen, die nicht zuzuordnen sind. Jürgen Dankert bittet um die Mithilfe damit der Abschluss für 1989 erfolgen kann. Es handelt sich um folgende Clubs, die sich bitte mit Jürgen in Verbindung setzen sollten (sofern dies bis zum Erscheinen dieses Bulletins noch nicht geschehen ist A.d.R.):
Backwood Swingers, Berlin Swinging Bears, Coppler Squares, Country Cats, Cross Country Hoppers, Dancing Shadows, Fjord Frohlickers, Lady Swingers, Levis ‘n Lace, Offenburg Square Dance Club, Plus Tape Group, Pumpernickel Squares, RDC Butterflies, Shamrocks, Söllingen Swingers, Tagalongs, Funtime SDC, Wertheim Peden Partners.
Der Finanzreport ergibt, dass die Finanzsituation der EAASDC recht gut ist. Das ist durch den Gewinn von DM 7000 aus Jamborees bedingt. Der Kassenbestand bar beträgt DM 3563,37, das Bankkonto hat ca. DM 37.000. Im Januar stehen Rechnungen von DM 25.000-27.000 an. DM 637 wurden von der Versicherung an Beitrag für 1988/89 nachverlangt.
c: Mustersatzung ist beim Secretary erhältlich. Die neuesten Änderungen im Vereinsrecht werden eingearbeitet. Sofern weitere Fragen zu e.V.-Satzungen bestehen, steht Harald Heinz gerne hilfreich zur Seite.
Es wird bekannt gegeben, dass das Board hat im Zusammenhang mit der Septemberausgabe des vergangenen Jahrs folgenden Beschluss gefasst hat: im Bulletin soll keine Produktwerbung von Firmen erscheinen. Ausnahme ist natürlich Werbung für Square Dance Kleidung, Platten und Badges, Tanzorte.
Bei der Abstimmung über die Minutes der Sommer Jamborees wurden diese angenommen. Die Minutes des Fall Round Up wurden durch Abstimmung ebenfalls angenommen.
TOP 2 Winter Jamboree - Christkindl Dance
Rainer Scheiblich stellt den Brief der Honey Cakes zum Christkindl Dance, wie er im Bulletin abgedruckt war und auch seine Antwort dazu vor. (Bulletin Dezember 1990).
Aus diesem Brief geht der Vorschlag hervor, das Wochenende der Winter Jamboree erneut zu besprechen.
Auch andere Clubs der EAASDC haben Special Dances am ersten Advent. Offensichtlich ist bei der Abstimmung über die Festlegung der Wochenenden nicht ausreichend klar gewesen, welche Probleme das zur Folge hat.
Die Abstimmung des letzten Mals ist, das Datum der Winter Jamboree bleibt bestehen und alle Specials zu diesem Zeitpunkt werden gestrichen.
Die festgelegten Zeitpunkte werden als Einengung empfunden. Man sollte vielleicht zur ursprünglichen Freiheit zurückkehren.
Es wird der Antrag gestellt die Honey Cakes sollen ihr Datum für den Special für die nächsten drei Jahre behalten. Bis dahin habe man eine tragbare Lösung für alle gefunden. Bei diesem Vorschlag ist es fraglich, ob die Honey Cakes damit einverstanden sind.
Aus Gründen der Planung, so eine andere Meinung, sollte man feste Daten haben, was noch lange nicht bedeutet, dass ein so traditioneller Tanz wie der Christkindl Dance nicht mehr stattfinden sollte. Ein Kompromiss soll hier angestrebt werden.
Bei der Menge der Clubs sollte man vielleicht doch bei festen Daten bleiben, so eine gegenteilige Meinung, denn Charter Dances nehmen immer mehr feste Wochenenden ein.
Die Anträge werden zum Spring Jamboree wieder aufgegriffen.
Da sich allerdings noch kein Club für das Winter Jamboree '91 gemeldet hat könnte man in diesem Fall das Jamboree auf den zweiten Advent legen und so für das Jahr '91 eine Übergangslösung finden.
Über diesen Antrag wird abgestimmt. Mit der Abstimmung (zwei Gegenstimmen und neun Enthaltungen) ist für 1991 das Jamboree am zweiten Wochenende im Dezember.
Top 3 Anlagen Versicherung
Frank Phillips, Sound Coordinator von ECTA, stellt eine Versicherung für Anlagen vor, die nach Prüfung verschiedener Versicherungen ihm am preisgünstigsten erschien. Es handelt sich um eine Transportversicherung, die an das in der Versicherungspolice gebundene Gerät gebunden ist.

Top 4 Spring Jamboree 1991
Nach Satzung der ECTA muss jedes Jamboree von ECTA unterstützt werden. Somit sind alle Probleme im Zusammenhang mit dem Spring Jamboree, die auf Fehlinformationen beruhten, beseitigt und das Jamboree kann auf dem festgesetzten Datum stattfinden.
Das Programm wird wie vorgelegt von ECTA angenommen und unterschrieben, da es zusammengestellt wurde, als ECTA das Jamboree nicht unterstützen wollte.

Es wird gefragt was in der Versicherung enthalten ist, die Bestandteil unseres Mitgliedsbeitrages ist. Das ist eine Haftpflichtversicherung. Das heißt, dass der Schaden den man anrichten kann abgedeckt ist, nicht aber persönlicher Schaden. Wenn eine Person fällt und eine Tür beschädigt, dann deckt die Versicherung den Schaden an der Tür, aber nicht das gebrochene Bein der Person.

a. The folder for adds is in work. It will contain the following information:
- kind of information publicity has to contain for non square dancers
- kind of info publicity has to contain for square dancers
- how do you present publicity material such as flyers, press info, letters to
authorities a.s.o.
- what about distribution of publicity material
- collection or examples of successful presentation in newspapers, examples of
flyers, written presentations, graphics and photos.
At the same moment Manfred Rosier asks to him by telling him your ideas and by giving him samples of work your club did for publicity.
There are again clubs that did not pay their dues. On the other hand there are payments of clubs we cannot identify. Jürgen Dankert asks for your help so he can do the balance of 1989. Following Clubs should get in touch with him (as far as they did not up to this issue of the bulletin):

The financial report shows, that the financial situation is not too bad. We have a profit of DM 7000 out of our jamborees of last year. In the treasury are cash DM 3563,37, on the bane-account ca. DM 37.000. In January we have to pay bills for DM 25.000 to 27.000. DM 637 were paid to the insurance as rest of dues for 1988/89.
c. You can ask the secretary for an example of a constitution. The last changings in club-law will be added. In case you need any help for e.V.-constitutions the secretary will help you.
In connection with the September issue of the bulletin the board took following decision: being an official paper we don't want to make any publicity for companies and their products. Exception to this is of course square dance wear, badges, records and dance locations.
By votes the minutes of the summer jamboree were accepted. The same is for the minutes of the Fall Round Up.
TOP 2 Winter Jamboree - Christkindl Dance
Rainer Scheiblich presents a letter of the Honey Cakes to the problem Christkindl Dance, as it was printed in the bulletin December 1990 issue together with his answer to the letter. Out of this letter merges the proposal to discuss again the date of the Winter Jamboree. Also other clubs of EAASDC host specials on the 1st Advent and have the same trouble. Obviously, while we fixed the jamboree dates the problems that would arise were not clear enough. The decision of the last jamboree is the Winter Jamboree stays on this weekend and all specials are cancelled. On the other hand fixed dates give the feeling to be fenced in. A suggestion is to go back to the roots without fixing any dates.
The proposal is made the Honey Cakes should stay with their weekend for the next three years. Until than we will find a solution. The only question remains weather the Honey Cakes will be satisfied with this proposal. We should find a compromise.
With so many clubs we should stay with fixed dates, so far another opinion, as our Charter Dances block more and more weekends.
The proposals will be picked up again to the Spring Jamboree.
As there is no club applying for the Winter Jamboree 91 a compromise could be to shift the jamboree weekend to the second weekend in December, only for this year.
We take a decision on this Proposal, which is accepted by votes.
With 2 opposed and 9 abstentions the Winter Jamboree 1991 will be on the second weekend of December.
TOP 3 Equipment Insurance
Frank Phillips, Sound Coordinator of ECTA, presents insurance for equipment which seems to be the one with best conditions after he checked several. It is a transport insurance and fixed to the equipment named in the insurance policy. For questions please get in touch with Frank Phillips.
TOP 4 Spring Jamboree
According to the Constitution of ECTA they have to support all jamborees of EAASDC. All problems in connection with the Spring Jamboree that were caused by wrong information are solved and the jamboree can be held regularly. Also the program will be signed without problems as it was done at the time ECTA did not want to support the jamboree.

A question is asked what the insurance in our membership package is about. It is a liability insurance that covers damages that a person can cause. Example: A person fells and breaks a door. The insurance covers the damage of the door, but not the broken leg of the person.
