Basic / Mainstream: Actual Changes / Aktuelle Änderungen

Dear Friends,

in the circulation letter dated Sept 20,

2006, members of Callerlab were in-

formed that with effect from Sept 15,

2006, there are a few changes to the

Callerlab Mainstream program:

1. Spin chain thru is back in Mainstream

as figure number 64 .

2. Basic is now listed as Basic again in the

list of Mainstream figures.. The list now is

called the Basic&Mainstream list.

3. Star promenade, which had its own

number on the list, has become a member

of the promenade family.

This means that Basic now no longer has

53, but 52 figures, and the whole Main-

stream program now contains 69 figures.

This is also important wherever e.g. at

special dances with "students welcome",

Student parties and so on student tips are

limited to a figure limit which is published

on the flyers. While list positions do

change from time to time it's best to fol-

low the advice of Al Stevens. He recom-

mends to always list figure limits with the

number AND figure name. So in case of a

change of the list place the figure name

will stay valid.

wurden die Callerlab-Mitglieder davon in-

formiert, daß mit Wirkung vom 15.09.06

folgende Änderungen im Mainstream-

Programm gültig sind:

1. Spin chain thru ist wieder bei

Mainstream, als Figur 64.

2. Basic ist in der Mainstream-Figurenliste

wieder als Basic ausgewiesen, die Liste

heißt nun Basic&Mainstream-Liste.

3. Star promenade, die bisher eine eigene

Nummer auf der Liste hatte, wurde in die

Promenade-Familie aufgenommen.

Dies hat zufolge, dass Basic nun nicht

mehr 53, sondern 52, und das gesamte

Mainstream nun 69 Figuren hat.

Wichtig ist dies auch dort, wo z.B. bei

Specials mit "Students welcome", Student

Parties, etc. eine Figurengrenze auf dem

Flyer angegeben wird. Da sich Listenposi-

tionsnummern immer mal verschieben, ist

es wichtig, dem Rat von Al Stevens fol-

gend, solche Grenzen mit Nummer UND

Figurnamen anzugeben. Im Fall einer sol-

chen Verschiebung gilt dann einfach der

Figurname.
