Motion for the Introduction of an additional EAASDC Event
Antrag auf Einführung einer weiteren EAASDC- Veranstaltung

We hereby submit a motion to add after
subsection IV No. 1.1. of the Bylaws the
following paragraph:
1.2 Under the sole responsibility of
the EAASDC the Summer Party will
take place annually on the last weekend
in June from 2010 on. The organiza-
tion of this event will be carried out in
agreement with the EAASDC by
member clubs who can apply to do so
at the EAASDC.
The previous sections 1.2 to 1.5 will
change to be 1.3 to 1.6.
Furthermore, in the "Guidelines for Spe-
cial Dances" subsection II No. 4., the
first sentence will be completed as fol-
lows (the addition is boldly marked):
4. On the days reserved for the Fall
Round Up, Spring Jamboree, European
Convention, Summer Party as well as for
the Student Jamboree no Special Dances
are allowed. On the days reserved for the
Round Dance Festival …“
Reason:
We believe that the predominant number
of dancers requests an additional jam-
boree with its special atmosphere, espe-
cially under the sole responsibility of the
EAASDC. Up to now the "gap" was
filled by the annual special event "GSI-
Festival". This event, however, will not
take place in Germany any more in the
forseeable future.
The discussion during the last Fall Round
Up 2006 in Reilingen has shown that the
proposed date – the last but one weekend
in June met with a lot of criticism be-

Ziffer 1.1 folgenden Absatz neu einzufügen:
1.2. Unter alleiniger Verantwortung der
EAASDC findet ab dem Jahr 2010 ein-
mal jährlich eine Summerparty statt.
Termin: letztes Wochenende im Juni. Die
Organisation dieser Veranstaltung erfolgt
durch Mitgliedsvereine, die sich darum
bei der EAASDC bewerben können, in
Absprache mit EAASDC.
Aus den bisherigen Ziffern 1.2 bis 1.5 wer-
den neu die Ziffern 1.3 bis 1.6.
Ferner soll in den „Richtlinien für
Special Dances“, Abschnitt II Ziffer 4 der
erste Satz wie folgt ergänzt werden
(Die Ergänzung ist fett markiert):
„4. Während der für Fall Round Up, Spring
Jamboree, European Convention, Summer-
party sowie Student Jamboree reservierten
Tage darf kein Special Dance stattfinden.
An den für das Round Dance Festival ...“
Begründung:
Wir glauben, dass der Wunsch nach einem
weiteren Jamboree mit seiner besonderen
Atmosphäre, vor allem unter alleiniger
Federführung der EAASDC, bei der über-
wiegenden Zahl der Tänzer vorhanden ist.
Bislang wurde diese „Lücke“ durch die jähr-
liche Sommerveranstaltung „GSI-Festival“
geschlossen, die jedoch auf absehbare Zeit
nicht mehr in Deutschland stattfinden wird.
Wie die Diskussion anlässlich des Fall
Round Up 2006 in Reilingen gezeigt hat, ist
vor allem der dort vorgeschlagene Termin –
vorletztes Wochenende im Juni – auf große
Kritik gestoßen, da eine ganze Reihe von
