The deadline for the vote for reduction of the number of jamborees was November 20^th, 1999. Until then we received 295 voting ballots, after this date 5 more voting ballots arrived, they couldn't be included.

3 independent dancers checked the result on Friday December 3^rd, 1999.

Here is the official result as introduced to the audience during the General Membership Meeting on Saturday morning:

The membership accepted the drop of the Winter Jamboree and the Spring Jamboree beginning with the new term of EAASDC President (after the Fall Round Up 2000).

All jamborees already given to a club after this date should be hosted without any restriction. 

All options are now invalid and but can be transferred from the respective club onto the date of the second jamboree.

Furthermore was accepted that the date for the second jamboree should be move to another time than the so far date for the Spring Jamboree.

One suggestion was to fix it on the weekend after Ascension Day, which is clearly located between Eastern and Whitsun. A new proposal is the weekend starting with the first Friday in May. The discussion on this point is still open and all proposals for this date will be discussed at the next General Membership Meeting.

Die Einsendeschluss für die Abstimmung zur Reduzierung der Anzahl der Jamborees war der 20. November 1999. Bis dahin waren 295 Stimmen eingegangen. Nach diesem Datum erreichten uns 5 weitere Stimmzettel, die aber nicht mehr berücksichtigt werden konnten.

Hier ist nun das offizielle Endergebnis, wie es der Mitgliedschaft während der Allgemeinen Mitgliederversammlung am Samstag morgen bekannt gegeben wurde:

Die Mitgliedschaft akzeptierte den Wegfall des Spring Jamborees und des Winter Jamborees beginnend mit der neuen Amtszeit des EAASDC Präsidenten (nach dem Fall Round Up 2000).

Alle bereits an Clubs vergebene Jamborees sollen ohne Einschränkung durchgeführt werden.

Alle Optionen sind hinfällig und können aber von den jeweiligen Clubs auf das Datum des zweiten Jamborees übertragen werden.

Darüber hinaus wurde akzeptiert das Datum des zweiten Jamborees auf ein anderes Datum als das bisher geltende Datum für das Spring Jamboree zu verlegen.

Ein Vorschlag war die Fixierung auf das Wochenende nach Christi Himmelfahrt, das klar zwischen Ostern und Pfingsten definiert ist. Ein neuer Vorschlag ist das Wochenende beginnend mit dem ersten Freitag im Mai. Die Diskussion zu diesem Punkt wird fortgeführt und alle Vorschläge für dieses Datum werden bei der nächsten Allgemeinen Mitgliederversammlung besprochen.
