„Same Procedure as every year“ ECTA Board Elections

Dear Dancers,

at June 23-26 we held our 21^st ECTA Convention in Rodgau near Frankfurt. We used a holiday to start a long weekend already on Thursday offering seminars, discussions and some dance sessions in the program. We are proud to note that around 130 members and partners attended the annual Convention this
year.

As usual we held our General Membership Meeting at this Convention, including elections of some board positions. This year the following members were (re)elected into office:

• President Björn Wagner,
• Secretary Philipp Aff,
• Square Dance Coordinator Thorsten Dudziak,
• Contra Coordinator Carol David-Blackman.

Furthermore, the ECTA membership confirmed the Extended Board position

• EEP¹⁾ Manager Frank Heber

We would like to especially thank Hans & Manuela Krackau for 4 years of efforts and input for the Contra Council. It was a pleasure to work with you!

Following them we would like to welcome Carol back in the Board. She has been working as Contra Coordinator before and we are looking forward to work with her again.
