Honorary Membership + ECTA Golden Achievement Award for Bryan D. Gill
For those of you who were not at the Spring Jamboree in Norderstedt we would like to announce that we were able to celebrate a very special ceremony during the Grand March.
Our Vice President Steffen and I were pleased to award ECTA Honorary Membership to Bryan Gill to thank him, and his wife Birgit, for their continuous efforts for the activity and for ECTA. Leaving office in 2010, Bryan had served for 11 years as Vice President of ECTA with dedication and full commitment. As well as his day-to-day business as Executive Board member, he took a leading role in forming our present constitution and organizing our annual education events - the ECTA Conventions. His comprehensive knowledge has always been a valuable source of information.
Since we felt that the Honorary Membership alone would not express adequate appreciation of his work for ECTA, we also decided to honour Bryan with the highest award that ECTA knows - the Golden Achievement Award.
Last but not least we thank Birgit for not only willingly tolerating the office of her husband, but for actively supporting our organization and board work.
Congratulations Bryan and thank you and Birgit for your support!
