And one result in particular made all of us sit up and take notice:The average age in Square Dance is 65 years.Many of us have sensed this for a long time. But seeing the number in black and white feels different. It clearly shows that if we do nothing, our hobby will continue to shrink over the coming years.So the question is simple:Do we keep talking about it %u2013 or do we start changing something?We in the PR team have deliberately chosen to take action.An idea for all of GermanyJust imagine the following:Square dance clubs all across Germany open their doors at the same time.Posters, flyers and banners appear everywhere in the same design.On social media, the same message shows up again and again:%u201cDeutschland tanzt Square Dance%u201dLasst unsgemeinsam trommeln!Beim Membership Meeting der European Association of American Square Dance Clubs (EAASDC) in G%u00f6llheim wurden die Ergebnisse unserer gro%u00dfen Umfrage vorgestellt. Und ein Ergebnis hat uns alle aufhorchen lassen:Der Altersdurchschnitt im Square Dance liegt bei 65 Jahren.Viele von uns ahnen das schon lange. Aber diese Zahl schwarz auf wei%u00df zu sehen f%u00fchlt sich anders an. Sie macht deutlich: Wenn wir nichts tun, wird sich unser Hobby in den n%u00e4chsten Jahren immer weiter verkleinern.Die Frage ist also ganz einfach:Wollen wir weiter dar%u00fcber reden %u2013 oder wollen wir etwas ver%u00e4ndern?Wir im PR-Team haben uns ganz bewusst f%u00fcr Ver%u00e4nderung entschieden.Eine Idee f%u00fcr ganz DeutschlandStellt euch einmal Folgendes vor:In ganz Deutschland %u00f6ffnen SquareDance-Clubs gleichzeitig ihre T%u00fcren.%u00dcberall h%u00e4ngen Plakate, Flyer und Banner im gleichen Design.In Social Media taucht %u00fcberall die gleiche Botschaft auf:%u201eDeutschland tanzt Square Dance%u201c
