ECTABulletin April 2026 13ECTA Vice PresidentDaniela UlbrichE-Mail: vice-president@ecta.deA few wordsIn this newsletter, a few words from your ECTA Vice President.As I write these lines, the ECTA Student Jamboree is still ahead of us; by the time you read this, we will have successfully (hopefully) wrapped up the event in Hamburg. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the hosting clubs, STINTFANG SQUARE DANCERSHAMBURG and PLUSPUNKTE HAMBURG.The next ECTA event is also just a few days away: from 15-17 May 2026, our annual Round Dance Festival will take place in Linkenheim-Hochstetten. A varied program in two halls under one roof awaits us there. There will be clinics and workshops at various levels of difficulty. If you%u2019re not sure whether this is right for you, talk to your cuers in your home clubs. They can help you determine which of the many workshops are the right fit for you. Since Thursday before the event is a holiday, it%u2019s a great opportunity to arrive early and perhaps explore Karlsruhe.The year of ECTA events is rounded off by the Clog Convention in July and the Contra & Traditional Convention in October.Ein paar ZeilenIn diesem Bulletin ein paar Zeilen von eurerECTA Vizepr%u00e4sidentin.W%u00e4hrend ich diese Zeilen schreibe, liegt die ECTA Student Jamboree noch vor uns;wenn ihr die Zeilen lest, haben wir eine (hoffentlich) erfolgreiche Veranstaltung in Hamburg hinter uns gebracht. Ein herzliches Dankesch%u00f6n geht hier an die ausrichtenden Clubs STINTFANG SQUARE DANCERSHAMBURG und die PLUSPUNKTE HAMBURG.Auch das n%u00e4chste ECTA-Event steht vor der T%u00fcr: Vom 15.-17.05.2026 findet unser allj%u00e4hrliches Round Dance Festival in Linkenheim-Hochstetten statt. Ein abwechslungsreiches Programm in zwei Hallen unter einem Dach erwartet uns hier. Es gibt Cliniquen und Workshops in verschiedenen Schwierigkeitsstufen. Wenn ihr euch nicht sicher seid, ob das etwas f%u00fcr euch ist, sprecht eure Cuer in euren Heimatclubs an. Sie k%u00f6nnen euch eine Einsch%u00e4tzung geben, welche der vielen Workshops die richtigen f%u00fcr euch sind. Durch den Feiertag am Donnerstag davor bietet es sich an, vorzeitig anzureisen und sich vielleicht mal Karlsruhe anzuschauen.Abgerundet wird das Jahr der ECTAVeranstaltungen durch die Clog Convention im Juli und die Contra & Traditional Convention im Oktober.
